This entire restaurant including the atmosphere, the waitstaff, and the food was completely amazing. I got to try foods that I’ve never had before and learn about so many different parts of the Colombian cuisine.

MENU

What I like about the menu is that it came with a little book on the side that showed pictures of each meal therefore instead of just having the names and the descriptions a picture can better give the idea of what you were going to get on the plate. Also, there were tons of different main meals, appetizers, and desserts to choose from. Thankfully our waitress explained most of the meals to us and which ones were the most popular. This made choosing our meals a lot easier.

BEEF AND CHICKEN EMPANADAS

The first appetizers we got with the beef and chicken empanadas. Its kind of reminded me of Jamaican patties, as well as they, were kind of similar to Indian samosas in taste They had a very crunchy outside and the inside had potatoes and meat. Overall it made a great way to start off the meal.

TRES AREPAS

The second appetizer we got were the three arepas. All of these were on a dough like bun That taste it does if it was made out of corn flour similar to how many tortillas. It’s balanced out the sweetness and juicing this of the different meats and sausage. It’s a it’s served with a pulled pork won a guacamole one Andy Normal pork one.. I love the guacamole one as It had a great texture and was a lot more fresh than the rest. But my favourite was the normal pork one as it had the same consistency and flavour is similar to refried beans. And I really enjoy those

CHICKEN

The main meal was the chicken. This was super juicy had a slight lemony and peppery flavoring. The meat was very tender and was able to melt in your mouth very easily. It went very well with the rest of the side dishes

Speaking of the side dishes the salad was very citrusy and all the different vegetables that came with it added a nice crunch to the rest of the meal.

The rice was similar to Indian and Asian cuisine but had a different texture as it was softer had more flavoring which was similar to butter and salt.

Finally, the plantains. The soft ones were sweet and prepared very well while the other ones were kind of crunchy and similar to the ones I had in Caribbean cuisine. I really enjoyed both of them.

QUATROS LÈCHES

This was one of the most amazing desserts I have ever tasted. It was the same as tres leches, but with coconut milk as well. Therefore it had the same consistency as tres leches but with an amazing coconut flavor that went great with the whipped cream and chocolate.

OVERALL

Overall I loved this restaurant and found the Columbian cuisine to be amazing. I can't wait to come back here to try many more things.
