Buona sera; good evening, and that it was! Buona Sera was a restaurant that I visited before, a couple years ago and was excited to return.

MENU

The menu had a huge variety of kinds of meals to choose from, from different appetizers to subs, calzones and most importantly the huge amounts of pizzas and pasta to choose from. Do you expect anything less from an Italian restaurant?

SUBMARINE

My brother insisted on trying a submarine, and I’m oh so glad that he did. The bread itself was perfectly toasted and super warm. The meat was cut very thin but they layered it a lot of it inside the sandwich. My favorite part about it was the mozzarella cheese that layered on top of the meat. It added an stringy, soft texture along with a beautiful cheesy taste. Finally, the addition of lettuce and tomatoes on top added a freshness and crunchy texture to the entire dish: bread is nice and toasted.

PIZZA (HALF TROPICAL HALF CANADIAN)

I decided to get a half pizza to be able to try more than one flavor at a time. The “ canadese” half was definitely my favorite. It was very oily and savory. The cheese was layered thick and broiled to perfection. The pepperoni was nice and slightly spicy. And finally, the green peppers and mushrooms added a crunch to the overall soft dish.

The second pizza was the “Tropicana” which was basically a simple hawaïenne pizza. The ham had a distinct flavor and went very well with the sweetness and juiciness Of the pineapple. All in all, I really enjoyed both of this pizza

OVERALL

I really enjoyed Buona Sera and was able to have a great evening out with my family Tasting amazing food. I would highly recommend checking it out.
